Greenville Maine Panorama c1900 Folsom Building View From The Steamship Kate

This is a panorama of Greenville Maine around 1900 showing the Folsom Building (now the Indian Store) , Sanders store and more. Surprised to see the color? Some in the collection were "colorized" in Germany as the Germans had the only color capability at the time.

 

Rockwood Moosehead Lake Mt Kineo Snowplow Team  c1900 Panorama

Here we are in Rockwood at the public landing. This shot was taken from about where the post office stands today looking toward the Rockwood Trading Post. The team of eight horses is pulling a snow plow. The railroad round house on the landing can be seen on the right edge of the photograph, Moosehead Lake in the background. This is another "colorized" photo is quite stunning and a real favorite with our customers.

Mail Boat Serving Moosehead Lake Circa 1900 In this photo taken also around 1900 the mail boat makes it's rounds. Here it is headed for the docks at Rockwood. A steamboat makes it's, way from Kineo Hotel seen just above the postman's head. Mount Kineo's unmistakable form can be seen just off the bow.  Available in sizes up to 17 x 54 inches.

Beautiful Sepia Reprint Panorama of Steamships and Locos This is a beautiful 1900 sepia print of the Rockwood ME to Kineo landing taken around the turn of the century. This photo shows the view looking south, away from the end of the landing. Here travelers change from train to steamboat on their way to the Kineo Hotel located just across Moosehead Lake. The RR Co. store and hotel are visible off to the right. The photographer's daughter can be seen standing in front of the platform. This reproduction is printed using archival inks on a matte paper. It will be shipped in a strong mailer tube ready for framing. Available in sizes up to 17 x 54 inches.

Here we have a beautiful sepia print of the Kate taken around the turn of the century. The barge tied along side hauls what appear to be Ford Model Ts on their way to the Kineo Hotel located just across Moosehead Lake. This reproduction is printed using archival inks on a matte paper.  Available in sizes up to 17 x 54 inches.
